For many years, Jack’s true passion for music has
transcended through his original instrumental and vocal compositions. His guitar playing is described by many as very akin to Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler, Larry Carlton, Robbin Ford, Mike Stern and Pat Metheny. Jack’s 40 plus years of recording and performing music with a multitude of rock, funk, latin, pop, jazz, blues and country original and cover acts, have brought him a well earned reputation for being a versatile, fluid, and well respected guitarist’s guitarist.
As a soloist and with various ensembles, Jack has opened for music legends; Robben Trower, John Mayall, Leon Russel, Los Lonely Boys, Curtis Salgado, Junior Brown, the Subdudes and Gino Vanelli. Jack has also been a guitarist for Jim Belushi’s band and currently performs with a local cover band called J Brothers in Southern Oregon.
